At Hubbard’s, we sell only the highest quality boilers.  But even the best equipment needs expert installation to achieve peak performance.  Each of our boiler installations include the following: 

• High efficiency Spirovent – We never use autovents due to their short life and tendency to leak.  Spirovents remove more air from the system, increasing the efficiency and reducing fuel consumption.  They are more reliable, and seldom need replaced.
   
• Low Water Shutoff – Should the water level inside the system drop below a safe level, this safety switch automatically shuts down the system, preventing the boiler from overheating and burning up.
   
• Pressure Reducing Valve – The domestic water pressure from either municipal water supply or well pump is higher than the boiler system can tolerate.  This valve reduces the pressure of incoming water to protect the system.
   
• Pressure Relief Valve – If the pressure in the system rises above 30 pounds, this valve safely vents the system to prevent the pipes from bursting.
   
• Backflow Prevention Valve – The water inside the boiler system becomes very toxic, and your domestic water supply is hooked into this system.  This valve prevents any toxic water from backflowing in to your drinkable water.
   
• Circulator Pumps - We install the circulator pumps on the supply lines.  Even though all circulator pump manufacturers specify that their pumps should be installed on the supply side of the system, nearly all installers place them on the return side.  This practice reduces the ability of the pump to over come head pressures, reducing the efficiency of the system.
   
• Valves, Valves, Valves – Each functional part of the boiler system is isolated with a shutoff valve above and below.  This allows for quick and easy change out should a part ever fail.  With out these valves, before repairs could begin, the entire system would have to be drained down, leaving the home owner without heat for an extended period of time.
   
• We use Erie zone valves, Taco circulator pumps, and Rielo burners.  These high quality parts offer superior reliability to our customers.  (Certain applications or customer preference may require us to use a different product)
